  6. 06

    Operational support

    Maintenance, troubleshooting and optimisation.

Concept & front-end engineering

Establish the process duty, site constraints, project boundaries and initial design basis. Feasibility, concept selection and cost-estimate work help define a practical scope before detailed engineering begins.

Typical outputs: design basis, concept documentation and scope definition.

Detailed engineering

Coordinate process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and structural requirements into a consistent design. Equipment interfaces and constructability are considered alongside client specifications and agreed design codes.

Typical outputs: drawings, datasheets, calculations and construction deliverables.

Procurement & fabrication

Source equipment and materials against the approved technical requirements. Vendor coordination, expediting and inspection support the delivery programme, while fabrication planning connects the design to the assembly work.

Typical outputs: procurement records, vendor documentation and inspection records.

Construction & installation

Plan the installation around site access, operating constraints and the agreed work sequence. Fabrication, piping, equipment installation and multidisciplinary site coordination are managed with safety and quality requirements defined for the scope.

Typical outputs: progress records, inspection reports and installation documentation.

Testing & commissioning

Develop the agreed inspection and test activities, verify readiness and coordinate pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up support. Factory and site acceptance requirements are established in the contract and approved test procedures.

Typical outputs: test records, commissioning documentation and agreed handover records.

Operational support

Support the transition into service through maintenance, troubleshooting and agreed follow-up work. Operating feedback can inform modifications, maintenance planning and improvements to the installed system.

Typical outputs: service reports, maintenance records and recommendations.

BEYOND THE SKID

Keeping your assets
ready for what’s next.

Industrial services for operating facilities, shutdowns and new installations.

01Maintenance & turnaround

Mechanical maintenance, equipment repair and shutdown execution are planned around the facility’s operating window, asset condition and access constraints. Work preparation connects the scope, manpower, materials and inspection activities so that the agreed maintenance tasks can progress in a controlled sequence.

  • Scope review, work preparation and mobilisation
  • Mechanical repairs and maintenance execution
  • Inspection coordination and documented handover

Share the equipment list, repair scope, shutdown dates and site requirements to establish the work plan.

02Fabrication & construction

Fabrication and construction translate the engineering scope into installed equipment and structures. RST Energy supports structural and equipment fabrication, piping work, erection, and civil and mechanical construction, with the sequence defined around drawings, site interfaces and inspection requirements.

  • Steel structures, equipment assemblies and piping work
  • Fit-up, installation and erection support
  • Inspection and completion records to the agreed scope

Drawings, material specifications, quantities and the intended installation location help define a reliable quotation.

  4. 04Welding & NDT
  5. 05Surface & coating
  6. 06Erection
03Blasting, painting & coatings

Surface preparation and protective coatings help manage corrosion on structures, piping, tanks and equipment. The coating system and preparation method are defined for the substrate, existing condition, service environment and client specification.

  • Abrasive or hydroblasting and surface preparation
  • Protective coatings, tank linings and specified fire protection
  • Surface profile, dry-film thickness and specified coating checks

Environmental conditions, batch details and inspection records are documented as required for handover.

04Industrial cleaning

Industrial cleaning removes fouling, deposits and sludge from tanks, vessels, heat exchangers and process systems. The method is selected around the contaminant, equipment condition, access and required cleanliness, with isolation and confined-space arrangements defined for the task.

  • Hydrojetting and mechanical cleaning
  • Chemical cleaning, vacuum and sludge removal
  • Waste handling and before-and-after records within the agreed scope

Equipment dimensions, contents, shutdown duration and waste-disposal responsibility are useful quotation inputs.

053D scanning & digital engineering

3D laser scanning captures existing site geometry for digital engineering and modification planning. The survey scope and required outputs are agreed around the area of interest, access, intended engineering use and the required level of detail.

  • Site scanning and point-cloud capture
  • Existing-asset documentation and dimensional coordination
  • Digital engineering support for brownfield modifications

Share the survey area, available drawings and intended deliverables to define the capture plan.
