PURPOSE & OPERATION

What the package does

Chemical injection packages store and meter treatment chemicals into a process at the specified dosing rate and injection pressure. They can serve one or multiple chemical streams, with pump selection and materials defined for the actual chemical properties.

ENGINEERING & INTEGRATION

How it fits your facility

Engineering coordinates storage capacity, refill intervals, material compatibility and the required pump drive. Calibration facilities and flow-control arrangements support dosing checks. Duty/standby pumps, pulsation control and spill containment are considered within the agreed scope and site requirements.

Typical process sequence

  1. Chemical storage
  2. Suction strainer
  3. Metering pumps
  4. Calibration & dampening
  5. Injection points

Illustrative sequence; final equipment and routing follow the agreed process design.

Typical applications

  • Process chemical dosing
  • Corrosion control
  • Treatment systems

Package considerations

  • Metering pumps
  • Chemical storage
  • Dosing control

Design inputs to prepare

  • Chemical properties
  • Dosing rate
  • Injection pressure and materials

The final process configuration, materials, design codes and performance requirements are established against the agreed design basis and client specification.
