PURPOSE & OPERATION

What the package does

Condensate polishing treats residual solids, water and selected contaminants before export or further processing. A package can combine particle pre-filtration, coalescing and adsorbent beds, with each stage selected against the feed properties and final product specification.

ENGINEERING & INTEGRATION

How it fits your facility

Contaminant concentrations determine the treatment media and operating arrangement. Cartridge replacement, adsorbent change-out frequency and duty/standby requirements are assessed alongside pressure drop and maintenance access. Drainage and monitoring interfaces are defined as part of the package engineering.

Typical process sequence

  1. Condensate inlet
  2. Particle pre-filter
  3. Coalescer / water removal
  4. Adsorbent beds
  5. Polished condensate

Illustrative sequence; final equipment and routing follow the agreed process design.

Typical applications

  • Export condensate
  • Refinery feed
  • Product upgrading

Package considerations

  • Particle pre-filtration
  • Coalescing and water drainage
  • Adsorbent polishing

Design inputs to prepare

  • Condensate properties
  • Contaminant concentrations
  • Product specification

The final process configuration, materials, design codes and performance requirements are established against the agreed design basis and client specification.
