PURPOSE & OPERATION

What the package does

Condensate stabilisation removes light components to achieve the specified product vapour-pressure requirement for storage, transport or export. The package integrates feed conditioning, a stabiliser column, reboiling and product cooling into a controlled process train.

ENGINEERING & INTEGRATION

How it fits your facility

The design uses condensate composition and flow, the target vapour-pressure specification and the available heating medium. The destination of separated off-gas must be agreed, together with storage and export interfaces. Feed/product heat recovery and automatic column control are considered within the selected operating basis.

Typical process sequence

  1. Condensate feed
  2. Feed / product heat exchange
  3. Stabiliser column
  4. Reboiler
  5. Stabilised condensate cooler

Illustrative sequence; final equipment and routing follow the agreed process design.

Typical applications

  • Condensate export
  • Storage preparation
  • Product stabilisation

Package considerations

  • Process separation
  • Temperature and pressure control
  • Modular configuration

Design inputs to prepare

  • Condensate composition and flow
  • Product specification
  • Inlet conditions

The final process configuration, materials, design codes and performance requirements are established against the agreed design basis and client specification.
